Also du musst bei Garmin mit dem kauf der Uhr bezahlen um Betatester zu werden, da keine Garmin Uhr von anfang an funktioniert.Das ist jetzt meine 8 Garmin Uhr und wie alle anderen davor, hat keine dieser Uhren richtig funktioniert.Wir reden hier über Uhren zwischen 500 & 1000eur.Nachdem ich jetzt meine Epix zum 5. mal in der Reperatur hatte und mit Preisverlust verkauft habe,habe ich mich dazu entschieden diese hier zu kaufen, da ein Umstieg in ein anderes System mir zu teuer wäre, da ich diesem Ökosystem schon bin (Externe Sensoren).Außerdem wollte ich das Kartenmaterial weiterhin nutzen.Die Epix war die erste Uhr mit mangelhafter Hardware, alle anderen Uhren hatten immer ein Software Problem.Diese Uhr hier hat 1 Monat nach dem Release ein Update erhalten, was sie wirklich nutzbar macht.Die Kartennutzung ist im gegensatz zur Epix langsamer, was vermutlich an einer etwas schlechteren Hardware liegt.Gleiches gilt für externe Apps, die langsamer laufen.Fazit:Was nicht so gut bei der Uhr ist, das sie ein gewölbtes Diplay hat, was die Nutzung von Schutzfolien schwer macht.Das ist auch die erste Uhr die keinen Hotkey für das Schlaftracking hat, was ich schmerzlich vermisse.Das Schlaftacking für den Hauptschlaf funktioniert, die Nickerchen Funkion funktioniert nicht, es wird dadurch der Hauptschlaf geändert und lässt sich auch nicht ändern trotz vorhandener Änderungsfunkion. Hier liegt noch ein Softwarefehler vor.Kartenposition lässt sich nicht per Touch speichern, nur per Tastendruck was auch kein Drama ist, aber wieso geht das bei den anderen Uhren.Sportfunkionien gibt es nicht viele, aber die wichtigestens sind dabei aber natürlich mehr als bei Garmin Uhren die unter 200-300eur kosten.Das ist auch die kleinste Mängelliste die ich jemals bei einer Garmin Uhr hatte.Was diese Uhr zu meinem absoluten Favoriten macht.Die Uhr ist leicht und ist sehr angenehm zu tragen.Die Akkulaufzeit ist spitze wie bei Garmin üblich, 11 Tage ohne laden kein Problem.Display ist das beste was Garmin aktuell zu bieten hat und das stimmt, andere Hersteller haben natürlich bessere.Es ist eine reine wirklich gute Sportuhr und keine Smartwatch und da hinken alle anderen Hersteller Garmin hinterher, die versuchen beides gleichzeitig anzubieten.Ich kann diese Uhr trotz des hohen Preises empfehlen.Sollte mir noch was auffallen werde ist diese Rezension ändern.Nachtrag:Ich besitze die Uhr jetzt ein paar Monate, die Uhr ist mir jetzt schon ein paar mal heruntergefallen, die EPIX wäre schon in ihre Bestandteile zerfallen, diese Uhr hält kratzerlos stand.Es kommt Update nach Update und die angesprochenen Dinge die ich vermisst habe wurden nachgereicht.Somit ist die Uhr wirklich perfekt und ich kann volle Sterne geben.

After using a Fenix 5s for a couple of months and being quite impressed, I decided to upgrade to this more up to date model. I planned to use it for running along side my Wahoo cycling computer and in conjunction with my strap heart rate monitor. I decided on the 965 mainly because of its screen size and clarity and it seemed to have all of the features I needed. I didn’t go for another Fenix partly due to the cost but also the additional features on that watch were not of interest.After using the watch for several months I can say the differences between the 965 and the Fenix 5s are considerable and I can also say that this is an excellent watch and I have been super impressed by it. The screen quality is far better than the Fenix. The Forerunner is so much clearer and crisper which to be fair should be the case as they are both different types. The gps is also much better on the Forerunner. The Fenix could never seem to get my heart rate correct when exercising heavily which was frustrating. Because of this, when I got the Forerunner I carried on using my strap heart rate monitor. One day however I decided to leave the strap behind and the Forerunner did an excellent job on getting my heart rate correct. So much so I haven’t used the strap since. Another thing I stopped using was the Wahoo simply because the 965 is so good and does everything I need when cycling.On top of that the touchscreen is fantastic. The sleep monitoring is great and the battery life is also excellent. I barely charge it more than once or twice a month.My only slight gripe with it is not actually about the watch but the strap. In the end I had to change it for the fabric type because I was getting sores on my wrist particularly after sweating during exercise. Since changing the strap this has completely gone away.To sum up, this has been one of my favourite purchases in recent times. It does everything I need in a small lightweight package and it does it all exceptionally well. The 965 has replaced my heart rate monitor for cycling and running, it has replaced my Wahoo for cycling and my phone for running. I now just go out with the watch.

Un po’ costoso ma ottimo
[...]Non mi piacciono gli smartwatch tradizionali, con notifiche, messaggi e quant’altro. Qui è possibile disabilitare tutto quello che non vi serve o che vi distrae. A me interessa la parte sportiva e questo orologio fa quello che deve fare e lo fa molto bene. Punto di forza per me: È possibile disattivare il touch e utilizzarlo solo con i tasti laterali, tra l’altro personalizzabili con scorciatoie. La batteria molto buona, con utilizzo normale dura circa 3 settimane.
