I was excited to try this smart ring as a sleek, minimalist alternative to traditional fitness trackers, but unfortunately, it fell short in a few key areas—most notably in accuracy.The heart rate monitor is significantly off when compared to both the Apple Watch and a chest strap monitor. During exercise, the discrepancy becomes especially glaring: the smart ring consistently reported heart rates that were more than 50% lower than both the Apple Watch and the chest strap. For anyone using this to track workouts or cardio zones, that level of inaccuracy is a dealbreaker.Sleep tracking also showed inconsistencies. Compared to the Apple Watch, the smart ring often reported different sleep durations and stages, which raises concerns about its overall reliability. While the ring is comfortable to wear and has a stylish, low-profile design, the health data it provides just isn’t trustworthy enough for serious users.If you’re looking for an accurate fitness tracker or sleep monitor, you’re better off sticking with more established wearables. This ring has potential, but it’s not quite ready to replace the devices that are already doing the job well.
