I’ve been looking for a watch for nearly a year and ideally wanted a self winding watch because I got fed up with either batteries running out, or forgetting to keep it wound up. I’d seen several in jewellers that I liked as I wanted something that looked stylish and felt like a good quality watch, but found the prices off-putting. It was only out of curiosity that I spotted this whilst browsing through Amazon and nearly didn’t buy it because I prefer to see things like this physically before I buy it, but took the plunge anyway. I’m glad I did. It arrived in a very smart presentation box complete with the tool needed to remove links (I had to remove 4 to fit my wrist without slipping).What impressed me first was that the watch has a good weight to it; not too heavy that I am constantly aware that it there, and definitely not light and cheap feeling.The style of the watch and strap (I bought the black) looks very professional, the display is crisp and clear, the hands move smoothly and you. can see the motion of the gears and spring working through the face.Inside the box is a small tool that you sit the strap in and (taking note of the arrows inside the strap), screw into the pins to get them to clip out the other end. One of the pins was difficult to get out and I was convinced the tool was going to snap, but just reseating the strap caused the pin to suddenly unclip and pop out. Removing the additional links was easy and the pins easily slid back. They have the design of a miniature hair pin and I had to find a small hammer and put the strap edgeways on a hard surface so I could gently tap the end of the pin back in so it would clip back; I couldn’t go it with my fingers and the tool won’t help push it back in either, but I’ve watched jewellers do the same and use the same tool.I can’t comment on how well the watch winds itself whilst it is being worn as I’ve only had it half a day, but as I actually feel comfortable wearing this watch (unlike others I’ve bought in the past), I can see myself wearing this watch daily so hopefully it will stay wound.

[...]È arrivato stamattina ed era già funzionante. L’ho lasciato nella scatola e l’ho ripreso dopo tre ore. Al momento non si è fermato, come dichiarato in altre recensioni. L’orologio è intrigante esteticamente, un divertissement rispetto a orologi più seri e costosi. L’unica pecca pratica è la corona un po’ troppo piccola e poco maneggevole per correggere eventualmente l’ora. In ogni caso un orologio che si può certamente acquistare al prezzo proposto.

[...]Davvero carino, ben fatto.Pro: niente batteria si ricarica meccanicamente, arriva completo di kit per togliere le maglie del cinturino per adattarlo alle proprie esigenze.Contro: La carica meccanica non dura più di 2/3 ore dopo averlo tolto, quindi va ristemata l’ora tutte le volte. Ma il punto davvero debole è la chiusura…si apre da solo e troppo facilmente appena pieghi il polso, con un alto rischio che cada e 💥☠️

Onestamente sono rimasto al quanto colpito dal prodotto, bello e ben fatto, anche se per un orologio automatico c’è da spendere qualche soldo in più a mio parere, ma mio figlio ha insistito e quindi l’ho preso.Pur avendolo tenuto al polso praticamente tutto il giorno, dopo averlo tolto per un po’, l’orario ha cominciato a non essere più in linea fino a fermarsi del tutto.Capisco il prezzo abbastanza basso per un automatico, ma se lo è lo è, indipendentemente da quanto costa.

Piacevole sorpresa, robusto ed elegante
[...]Da appassionato di orologi meccanici automatici, ho deciso di dare una chance a questo modello, omaggio al celebre Audemars Piguet, nonostante sul web non goda di recensioni particolarmente entusiaste. Pagato 38€, si è rivelato una piacevole sorpresa.Il mio esemplare è arrivato con uno scarto di marcia di circa ±10 secondi al giorno: con una piccola calibrazione l’ho portato a ±2 secondi, un risultato notevole per questa fascia di prezzo. Ho anche personalizzato il quadrante, rendendolo ancora più distintivo.La cassa da 42 mm conferisce un’ottima presenza al polso, e il movimento automatico trasmette una sensazione di solidità e qualità superiore alle aspettative. È un orologio che “si sente” e che non passa inosservato.Resistente all’acqua e — sorprendentemente — anche al fuoco: ha resistito indenne allo spegnimento di un incendio in campagna nel sud Italia, uscendo illeso dopo ore a contatto con rovi ardenti. Un episodio che testimonia la robustezza della costruzione.In sintesi: un ottimo inizio per questo segnatempo. Sarà interessante vedere, con il passare del tempo, quanta manutenzione richiederà il movimento. Per ora, pienamente soddisfatto.
