I’ve only owned this watch for a day now, but as first impressions go, I’m quite pleased with it’s performance.Disregard other people giving poor reviews for some of Seiko’s other automatics, because most of the problems with accuracy come from a small design flaw in the 7s26 movement, causing the hairspring to be “caught” in the regulator pin due to shock. This results in horrible accuracy, on the range of +-20seconds per hour or more. But a quick fix (though it’s not recommended that to try to bump your watch around) is to tap the watch to get the hairspring free again. Overall, it is a rare occurrence that that happens, and comes with a quick fix.My watch arrived with no hairspring-getting-caught issue, so it ran quite steadily and only gained about +1 sec/hour. Since it seemed a little too fast, and I wanted it to get at least in the sweet spot of around +-15sec/day, I opened the back to regulate the hairspring. WORD OF CAUTION: the regulator lever is VERY sensitive. Moving the lever just 1/2mm to the plus sign changed the accuracy to about +10sec/day, so be very precise about the adjustments.Overall, this watch has not disappointed, considering that it’s only a ~$70 watch. Seiko’s price to performance ratio is always great, and each watch is crafted with precision detail. Currently, my watch is running about +12sec/day after regulating. I might change the rating if something goes awry, but for now, I recommend with watch.

[...]ad un prezzo così non ha pari: movimento affidabile, quadrante bellissimo, sfere ricercate. Tutti parlano della scarsa qualità del bracciale, ma ha comunque diversi tipi di finitura, sebbene l’acciaio non sia quello di un bracciale da 1000 euro… ma tutto l’orologio ne costa poco più di 100.

Tenace e raffinato, ovvero: Seiko 5
[...]Orologio fantastico. Senza citare paragoni arditi con orologi ben più leggendari, Il Seiko 5 è comunque uno di quegli orologi che non ha bisogno di presentazioni: tenace, robusto, dal cuore generoso e raffinato. Rapporto qualità/prezzo assolutamente imbattibile. Il movimento 7S26 è uno dei più affidabili, attivo dal 1996.Il concorrente più agguerrito del Seiko 5 rimane -a mio parere- l’Orient Bambino, orologio ben fatto, ma che non può reggere il confronto con la storia ed il prestigio di Seiko. Questo Seiko 5 in particolare (SNKL43K) è secondo me il più bello della gamma.La spedizione è stata piuttosto travagliata, ma devo esprimere i miei complimenti al venditore IsetanHub per avermi fornito assistenza e vicinanza.Orologio assolutamente consigliato: regala emozioni.

[...]Un bellissimo orologio, che a questa cifra vale sicuramente l’acquisto. Si presenta molto bene, in una scatola bianca con la scritta Seiko. L’orologio, con bracciale in acciaio e quadrante di un bel blu scuro, è allo stesso tempo molto solido e piuttosto leggero. Quasi non si sente al polso.Sul quadrante sono presenti il giorno della settimana e la data. Il movimento automatico è visibile dal retro dell’orologio attraverso un vetro.Purtroppo dovrò fare il reso in quanto la misura è un po’ piccola per il mio polso (18cm). Un vero peccato, perchè l’orologio è proprio bello

Elegante e leggero, per polsi sottili
[...]Ho un polso sottile da 16.5 quindi veste perfettamente, su di un polso più massiccio si perderebbe un pó. Molto elegante ma allo stesso tempo carismatico nel quadrante con quelle sfumature di blu che variano al passaggio della luce. Vetro non antiriflesso. Il bracciale tanto bistrattato da molti in realtà si abina perfettamente ad un orologio leggero anche nella cassa, in più la decorazione in acciaio lucido lo rende migliore esteticamente di molti altri bracciali montati su modelli diversi di seiko 5. Un orologio per tutti i giorni, con l’uso frequente resterà sempre preciso la mattina dopo. Immancabile se ci si vuole addentrare da neofita nel mondo dell’orologeria automatica. Non ci spenderei più di 120 euro però a meno che non siate degli appassionati

[...]Sono passati i tempi in cui un Seiko 5 si poteva acquistare a cifre ampiamente al di sotto dei €100. Questo orologio l’ho pagato poco più di €120 (usato anche se in condizioni pari al nuovo) prezzo forse altino ..in fin dei conti stiamo parlando di orologi abbastanza basici anche se ben fatti. Comunque è molto carino con una bella cassa dal design sportivo e classico insieme, e un bel quadrante di un blu profondo. Solita qualità del bracciale bassa, tipica dei Seiko 5, infatti l’ho sostituito con un bel cinturino in pelle.
