I was hesitant to buy this because of the negative reviews, but having used it for the last week I like it a lot. It looks very stylish and could be mistaken for a Swiss watch costing four times the price and it also does everything I need from a smartwatch. The notifications work fine, and the heart rate tracking and step counter seem accurate (I compared it to an Apple Watch). The only thing that might be slightly off is the sleep tracking but I’m hoping this can be improved with updates. The setup process was fiddly, adjusting the position of the hands was a bit of a pain, but only needed to be done once. The best thing about it is that it looks like a proper watch and not a wrist-top computer.

This ‘hybrid’ smartwatch has a good heft, and utilized quality materials (stainless steel case and sapphire crystal glass) that separates it from the flood of cheap smartwatches from China that stop working for all sorts of reasons in a short span of time. With its conventional dial, hour/minute hands, the crown and two (2) function buttons, it looks more like a traditional yet sporty wristwatch than a typical smartwatch; but all these same features are what attracted me to get one.The included strap (I got the black leather one) is also easy to replace with third-party ones as long as you’ll get the right size (22 mm.).I also prefer the round, USB-C-powered charging cradle/base bundled with the unit, where the watch snaps securely into compared to the small magnetic leads at the end of the the USB cables commonly included with cheap smartwatches They disconnect easily from the watch. It’s always frustrating to find your watch uncharged when you’re about to wear it .The best feature, this being a ‘hybrid’ watch, is how the hours and minutes hands “gets out of the way” of the rounded display area -after you turn the crown- for the user to view the ‘smart’ functionalities unobstructed. And these are my dislikes about this ‘hybrid’ smartwatch:- The round area provided for the smart functions is too small. I would approximate it to be just 1/6 of the entire dial. Although the display is bright enough, you would have to put the watch close to you eyes to get a glimpse of all the smart functionalities like step count, H/R, SpO2, weather, etc.Pininfarina chose form (to match the same rounded area for the sub-dial/seconds window) than functionality of a bigger area for the smart features. But give them credit for making the sub-dial to also function as an “activity goal” indicator.- Since the round window is too small, it can’t even provide info for text and call notifications that even dirt-cheap smartwatches could.- Some of the health features particularly SpO2 measurement can be spotty – you may have to do several attempts to get a result.- The ‘Quick Start Guide’ is not too informative. You have to figure everything out from the Pininfarina app after downloading it on your phone. The app (provided by Globics Technology) is robust enough, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Allot some time to learn all the features including how to connect it with your existing Apple Health or Strava accounts, change units or language, and more importantly the by tapping the model of the connected Sintesa watch on the app where it would give you a wealth of information like firmware updates, Find My Watch, smart crown vibration, hand calibration, short-cut key or sub-dial configuration, etc.Overall, despite of its shortcomings (particularly the small area for the smart features), I will give this Pininfarina Sintesi Hybrid Smartwatch a positive review. The quality materials utilized and rather adequate “smart features” integrated into the unit of this seemingly conventional-looking sports watch, make it quite a unique item in the “affordable” watch segment in the current but highly-competitive market.

Not only do I love this watch but it’s a little bit more special to me as I owned a 406 Coupe for 8 years back in the day, which was built by Pininfarina, so it’s a nice little keepsake for me and I’m glad I really like it!I love the way the watch comes presented, it really makes it feel a bit special, and it would make a brilliant gift too.The overall quality of the watch is excellent. It looks and feels well made, the dial looks brilliant, the body is finished to a very high standard throughout, the strap is quite nice, the screen is easy to read, and in general I’m very pleased with the quality. Its quite heavy too, a fair bit more than my galaxy watch 6.The app and smartwatch features are ok but it’s clearly the weak point with the watch. It was easy and quick to connect the watch, but the app isn’t the best that ive used and the UI isn’t great either. You can set which apps make the watch vibrate when you get a notification, and you also get a preview on the watches screen which is really nice.Battery life seems pretty good and way better than a normal smartwatch. It loses around 10% battery per day so I’m not sure how it can last 30 days but it’s still good enough for me and I usually charge it way before it runs out anyway.Overall, apart from the app I’m very pleased with this watch and for around £250 I think the value is ok too as its very nice quality and comes well presented. It’s a watch I’m happy to recommend and I feel four stars is appropriate for it, buy with confidence!

This is a really bad watch. It does “look” nice but functionally it’s a mess. The biggest factor when investing the time and money into a watch has to be with keeping time. This watch fails this criteria miserably as it can’t keep time without having a constant connection with your phone. For some reason, at least half of the time i look at the watch, it’s always some margin off from the actual time. Then out of the blue, i can physically see the time correct itself. Sometimes it’s a couple of minutes off and sometimes it’s 10 min off and sometimes it’s over an hour off. Not sure if the connection is dropping or what’s happening but it shouldn’t fluctuate that far. This includes me waking up in the morning and the watch being several minutes off even though the phone was next to me on the nightstand. Secondly, the watch hands are not hard coded to the actual time. So there are instances where the analog hands will show a different time than the digital clock time. There is a function to “calibrate” the hands but that only lasts a day or so and then it’s off again. Lastly, the sleep tracking is pretty terrible in comparison to any of the other smart watches that i own. It’s told me i had 8 hours of sleep even though i know i only had 6. As far as the looks of the watch itself, it’s very nice. The machining and fit and finish are really really good. Polishing is not great but at least the brushing is good. The watch dial is designed (i guess) to resemble a leather face which i don’t like but that’s not a flaw but more of a design choice. The display is super small (which i knew going in) and looks good but it’s just a little two small to be useful. Overall, I’m just very disappointed in this attempt from a reputable brand. I get that they don’t actually make the watch but they really shouldn’t allow them to stamp their name on it.

Toller Name, tolles Aussehen, tolle Funktionen!!!Alles Werbeversprechen?
