I recently upgraded to the Apple Watch Series 9 (41mm) from my old Series 6, and I couldn’t be happier. Apple really nailed it with this one.The display is noticeably brighter, even in direct sunlight, making it much easier to read outdoors. The 41mm size is perfect—not too big, not too small—and it’s lightweight and comfortable to wear all day.Performance is incredibly smooth thanks to the new S9 chip. Everything feels faster, whether I’m navigating apps, replying to messages, or tracking workouts. The new Double Tap feature is surprisingly useful when I only have one hand free.Health tracking is as great as ever. The heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, and blood oxygen sensor all work accurately, and the fitness tracking motivates me to stay active. Siri also works much better now, even without an internet connection, which is a big plus.Battery life is about the same as previous models, lasting a full day with normal use. While I wish it lasted longer, fast charging makes it easy to top up quickly.Overall, this is an excellent smartwatch with meaningful improvements. If you’re upgrading from an older model, you’ll definitely notice the difference. Highly recommend.

Vorab: Ja, der Kauf hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Warum?Pros:- Super schnelle Reaktionen, dank dem neuen S9 Chip- Guter langlebiger Akku- Schönes und helles Display- Dünne Displayränder- Generell einfach WatchOS ist meiner Meinung das beste Betriebssystem für eine SmartwatchCons:- Gar keine, bis auf den Preis. Außerdem könnte die Akkulaufzeit länger sein und ich wünsche mir einige Features vom Whoop, aber das ist ein Software ProblemIch habe mir diese Apple Watch als Nachfolger für meine Apple Watch Series 5 gekauft, die keine Updates mehr erhält und dessen Akkulaufzeit für mich nicht mehr ausgereicht hat. Ich habe den Unterschied der Series 9 direkt gemerkt und bereue meinen Kauf nicht. Ich habe mich bewusst gegen die Apple Watch SE entschieden, da mir dort einfach die Displayränder zu dick sind und ich die zusätzlichen Features dieser Apple Watch nutzen will. Der Preis ist echt etwas hoch, aber meine Series 5 habe ich schließlich für 4 Jahre genutzt und außer den zwei erwähnten Sachen, hätte ich sie auch noch weitere Jahre benutzen können. Bei Apple bekommt man bekanntlich mehrere Jahre Software Updates, daher ist das Geld gut investiert. Außerdem finde ich im Gegensatz zu Whoopi gut, dass man kein Abo-Modell abschließen muss, da ich heutzutage wirklich genervt von den ganzen Abos bin. Die Apple Watch integriert sich wunderbar ins Apple Öko-System und bezahlen im Laden tue ich ausschließlich mit der Apple Watch, weil es für mich bequemer ist, anstatt jedes Mal mein iPhone rauszuholen. Das klappt auch immer und funktioniert zuverlässig.Fazit: Ich kann die Apple Watch nur empfehlen und bereue meine Kaufentscheidung nicht. Im Zuge dessen sehe ich absolut keinen Grund, weshalb ich zur Apple Watch Series 10 greifen sollte. Ich bin gespannt, wie lange diese Apple Watch halten wird – hoffentlich genauso lange wie 4 Jahre oder mehr. Aktuell trage ich eine Schutzhülle aus Plastik um meine Apple Watch, daher sieht sie etwas klobiger und dicker aus.
