   I bought this to replace my aging Fitbit Sense, which wasn’t charging well anymore. It had the promise of using the phone’s voice assistant, which was better than the Sense 2 which only has access to Alexa now. It’s Bixby given I’m on a Samsung phone, but it’s better than Alexa and it can control stuff on the phone remotely from the watch which is a cool bonus.I did not have any appreciation for the massive difference in health tracking between a Fitbit and a Garmin when I pressed Buy Now. Every feature of the Fitbit is here in some form, both subscription features like readiness score (recovery) and enhanced sleep metrics to all of the basic stuff. Lots of things that are restricted to while you’re asleep on the Fitbit work at all times on the Garmin, like respiration and blood oxygen. The sensor and LEDs on this are much bigger than on a fitbit and are much more sensitive to highs and lows in heart rate that fitbit can’t pick up. The stress detection and body battery features are really cool and seem accurate. Fitness age presents an unflattering but likely pretty accurate picture of my health after wearing the watch for a few days.Everything is customizable on the watch and in the Garmin app; there is even a feature to design your own watch face with a photo background of your choice and the placement of the watch elements and complications where you choose them. You can put what is important to you front and center and you can ignore anything you don’t care about. Both the watch and the app require a bit of messing around to get things looking the way you would like, but it’s easy and I had fun poking at the watch for hours making everything perfect. There are a LOT of pre made watch faces included with assorted complications, some of them configurable and some not. The one pictured is not configurable but it displays exactly the stats I want and looks good. There are several included faces that look great so you aren’t forced into their store right away.It is ironic that there is a working YouTube Music app for Garmin watches but not for the top of the line fitbits. I have loaded my likes playlist to the watch, which loaded almost 300 songs in the same order they are in on the YM app. This took a while and I left the watch plugged in while it downloaded over wifi. Connecting headphones was really easy and I set the “shortcut” swipe from left side to open the music player. I have used the watch to listen to music instead of my phone on some walks and it’s a great experience.I am very fond of this. It’s an upgrade in every way from a Fitbit Sense. It’s the Samsung phone of fitness trackers with all of the bells, whistles and options you could ask for and some you didn’t know you wanted before you got the watch. Worth the 600 bucks.

   Garmin è garanzia di qualità ma per chi come me arriva da Epix gen 2 è un notevole salto indietro… perché???L’interfaccia software è anche bella ma piena di bug e limiti il più evidente è il touch lento e impreciso i tasti fisici aiutano ma non troppoInoltre se hai iPhone non offre quello che offre AndroidDa valutare con il tempo

   ottimo sport watch
   ho atteso molti mesi prima di scrivere la recensione per essere certa di quanto dichiaravopremesso che proveninvo da un altro Garmin perciò l’impostazione già la conoscevo e apprezzavoche dire, questo modello mi ha soddisfatto aldilà delle aspettative!bello, preciso, una durata quasi infinita della batteria (normalmente lo ricarico una volta a settimana, arrivo a due se mi alleno tutti i giorni) uno schermo leggibilissimo in tutte le condizioni, risulta leggero tanto da dimenticarseloinfiniti sfondi e possibilità di personalizzazionenaturalmente se scegliete Garmin avete una predisposizione sportiva rispetto ad altri smart a disposizione e sugli sport non ha confronti : decine e decine di sport preimpostabili con rilevazioni sempre precise e affidabilil’unica pecca che ancora rilevo è la poca precisione sul rilevamento del sonno o meglio se siete tra gli sfortunati che hanno difficoltà ad addormentarsi o sperimentano risvegli e interruzioni del sonno, raramente vengono registrati per il resto tutti i dati riguardanti la salute sono precisi ed affidabiliaggiornamenti software molto frequenti stanno migliorando ulteriormente il trackeril prezzo non è da cinesata ma per qunto mi riguarda li vale tutti

   Buon compromesso tra sport e smart
   Un buon compromesso tra sportwatch e smartwatch, comodo da indossare anche di notte, durata batteria buona (circa un settimana con uso intenso e always on display spento). Vengo da un Amazfit che costa la metà e secondo me molto più performante sia come sportwatch che smartwatch. L’unica cosa che secondo rende ancora Garmin leggermente avanti a tutti gli altri è la funzione livetracking e rilevamento incidenti che, per chi come me va in montagna spesso d solo, è una funzione importante.

   Qualità Garmin sempre al top
   Comprato come upgrade dell’indistruttibile Instinct ha confermato la qualità che già conoscevo di Garmin.L’utlizzo come tracker GPS è molto preciso, le attività di allenamento sono personalizzabili praticamente in tutto. Ottime anche le proposte di allenamento che se ben impostate funzionano com un vero coach!Il monitoraggio delle funzioni vitali è accurato, anche sotto sforzo, guida anche nel recupero dall’attività o semplicemente al benessere con consigli durante la giornata.Un prodotto non economico ma sicuremente con prestazioni eccellenti. Unico dubbio sulla durevolezza dei materiali che, essendo abiutati al grado militare di Instinct, lo fanno sembrare apparentemente fragile nello schermo e nei tasti di comando ma questo lo dirà solo l’utilizzo e il tempo!Complessivamente a mio modesto parere acqusito economicamente significatio ma azzeccato! :-)

    GARMIN con il Venu 3 è come sempre al top!
    Cosa dire? uno dei più eccezionali dispositivi health indossabili che ho mai provato. Nulla a che vedere con i concorrenti, Garmin ha fatto un ottimo lavoro, tanto da veder riconosciuto il suo ECG come “certificato” come richiesto dalla normativa vigente. Le specifiche recitano infatti: “L’applicazione ECG è un dispositivo medico di Classe IIa conforme alle normative sui dispositivi medici, incluso il Regolamento UE (MDR) 2017/745. L’app ECG può registrare un ECG simile a un ECG a derivazione e rilevare la presenza di fibrillazione atriale o ritmo sinusale normale. L’app ECG è destinata all’uso esclusivamente da parte di adulti che abbiano già compiuto 22 anni. Segui sempre le istruzioni per l’uso. L’app ECG non è disponibile in tutte le aree geografiche ed è disponibile solo su smartwatch Garmin selezionati dotati dell’ultima versione dell’app Garmin Connect per smartphone e del software dello smartwatch. Per la disponibilità e le istruzioni complete per l’uso, visita il sito Web all’indirizzo Garmin.com/ECG.L’app Garmin Connect deve essere scaricata su uno smartphone compatibile.”

    Fantastico, con qualche pecca!
    Venivo già da un Garmin Fenix 6 pro solar e volevo fare un upgrade unendo la parte sport alla smart. Venu 3 risponde benissimo a questa esigenza. Veloce, bello, preciso nelle misurazioni, leggerissimo e più sottile al confronto col Fenix. Indomma, un sacco meglio! Elencare gli elementi a favore è facile, quindi descrivo i “contro”: audio decisamente basso! Durante le mie sessioni running gli avvisi sono impercettibili se non si porta all’orecchio il dispositivo. Usare auricolari è consigliato; cavo ricarica sempre troppo corto, come da tradizione Garmin. Inoltre, vista la fascia di prezzo sarebbe stata utile la ricarica wireless; nota negativissima l’incompatibilità con il mio Huawei P30, praticamente inutilizzabile per connessione fortemente instabile, con tutto quello che ne consegue. Ho anche un Google Pixel A7 col quale funziona perfettamente, quindi problema risolto, ma se avete Huawei/Honor statene alla larga! Ho provato a messaggiare l’assistenza per questo problema, risposte zero… inaccettabile! Altra cosa fastidiosa (definirlo problema ssarebbe eccessivo) configurarlo con lo smartphone è abbastanza complicato. Capisco che sicurezza e privacy sono fondamentali, ma aggirarsi per menù, flag vari, concessioni, app, impostazioni, ecc… è un bel casino! A distanza di un paio di settimane di utilizzo e aggiustamenti sono più o meno arrivato a sistemare tutto, ma che giramenti! Altra nota è la batteria: 14 gg. sono inarrivabili con 2/3 sessioni running da un’ora, più notifiche e amenità varie, però personalmente speravo qualcosa in più di 6/7 giorni prima di caricarlo. Per carità, una settimana è pur sempre un buon compromesso.Valutazione finale: fondamentalmente è un dispositivo da voto 10 al quale manca solo la lode… e lo adoro!
