L’Artico ha un significato personale sia per il fondatore di BERING Michael Witt Johansen che per il suo amico e co-fondatore René Gross Kaerskov. Dies ist bereits meine zweite Solaruhr von Bering. Die erste in Schwarz-Rosé läuft seit über zwei Jahren zuverlässig. Da der Trend zur Zweituhr geht, habe ich nun die zweite Uhr in Silber-Gold gekauft. Die Uhr lädt jetzt im Sommer schlichtweg beim Tragen auf. Im Winter lege ich sie auf die Fensterbank , auch das funktioniert. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war zu Beginn das Armband und dessen Einstellung auf die passende Länge. Aber dazu gibt es im Notfall Videoanleitungen im Internet. Die kleine schwarze „Lasche“ dient als Halterung des restlichen Armbandes. Zudem konnte ich auf der Website von Bering nachlesen, wie das Datum einzustellen ist: Den Drehknopf für die Stundeneinstellung halb herausziehen, einstellen, zurückschieben und fertig. Von meiner Seite aus gibt es nichts zu meckern. Zumal sich die Sache mit dem Batteriewechsel nun auch auf umweltschonende Art und Weise erledigt hat.

I’m a big fan of Bering and have had one of their watches for over 6 years with zero issues. I loved the idea of the solar model as soon as I saw it existed, it doesn’t get shipped to my country though and the re-sellers charge too much for it so I decided on ordering it on here. I’ll start by saying I expected this watches face and encasing to be white from the pictures on here, but it is really silver. It is still a beautiful watch, but in my head I expected white. I am also a thin person, and this watch’s wristband is very long, this is positive for some people, but if you have thin wrists the extra material of the wristband will turn around more than you will like and you will need to have it fixed. Other than this, I have had a good experience, it keeps time and date correctly and I haven’t experienced any delays or malfunction even if i don’t use it everyday and keep it inside a drawer.

Ik heb heel veel horloges en droeg de Bering Solars niet altijd, maar als ik ze weer gebruik doen ze het altijd nog steeds. En ze blijven lang mooi, het glas krast niet en het metaal blijft als nieuw.

Difficile da regolare
[...]Molto bello, efficiente, ma… la regolazione del cinturino (che nella mia ingenuita`, non avendo maglie, pensavo fosse una banale chiusura a pressione regolabile) e` un incubo:1. Non c’e`una istruzione per la regolazione al polso2. Una volta sbloccato dalla posizione iniziale (cosa non banale), i pezzi cadono (si sfilano) dal cinturino nel momento in cui si prova a mettere al polso3) Una volta reinfilati i pezzi, non si blocca piu`Alla fine sono dovuto andare (o meglio, mia moglie e` andata) da un orologiaio per farlo regolare e rimontare. Occorre avere sia i cacciavitini giusti che la conoscenza di come eseguire la regolazione.Adesso non si tocca piu`…
